I GREW UP IN A Beautifully unique, 1970’S MODERN, 3500 SQ. FT HOUSE that my Dad built with his father and brothers and I’ve OWNED A TINY 300 sq ft., Circa 1905, HUMBLE Worker’s APARTMENT IN PARIS THAT WAS BUILT for Italian immigrants with BRICKS FROM THE BASTILLE PRISON. In the 1990s I LIVED IN A 5000 SQ FT. raw LOFT above a working Stamp factory IN Chicagos Warehouse district, ala Flashdance style, AND LIVED IN MANY, many, Many Small CHICAGO Two FLATS THAT WERE CHALLENGING IN MANY, MANY WAYS.

I currently live HIGH in THE tree-topS IN A 1200 sq. ft, 1920s Condo with my husband, Balthazar and two tiny scruffy Rescue pups, Coco and Gigi in Historic Oak Park, IL.

All of These homes have created who I am when it comes to my designs today and how I approach the needs of my clients.

Our homes are unique sanctuaries to us—a place to relax, create, and grow in.

They are a living, Breathing Poem to ourselves.

I’m a Film and Flower Nerd. A Lover of Color Palettes and Paint Decks, Russian Literature and Classical Archeology. I’m a person of contrasts from Belle Epoque-1920s Paris to Brutalism, Lord Byron to Rimbaud, Jean Cocteau, Carlo Mollino, Madeleine Castaing to 1970s Biba, Callas to Beastie Boys, El Greco to Edward Hopper. When I’m not moving things around and thinking of colors, I can be found at the nearest pool, dreaming of Sicily.
